Virginia TE John Rogers flashed scoring touch in 2025 after a quiet debut year
Rogers is a developing **Virginia tight end** whose 2025 line of 9 catches for 101 yards and 1 TD shows real red-zone usefulness and enough versatility to contribute in the passing game.[2][4] What stands out is his steady climb from a 2024 career debut to a more involved role, plus the athletic background to play above the rim; 247Sports notes he also competes in baseball and track and field, which suggests added movement skills for the position.[2][3]
