Kendall Lyons is a proven UIC innings-eater with starter upside
In the 2026 season, Kendall Lyons has shown he can work deep into games, including a seven-inning shutout outing and a five-inning quality start, giving UIC a dependable right-handed arm with strike-throwing poise and bounce-back ability. His profile is built on competitiveness, durability, and game management more than pure overpowering velocity, which makes him attractive to teams that value a sink-or-sink-else starter who keeps the bullpen fresh. He’s not a flashy headline monster, but he’s the kind of steady, tough RHP coaches trust when the gloves need to stay hot.
