Mason Smith brings polished infield skills and winning pedigree to Dartmouth
Mason Smith arrives at Dartmouth as a first-year infielder with a strong prep résumé: he helped North Allegheny win a 6A WPIAL title, earned first-team infield honors, and was known for steady offensive production and baseball IQ. In high school, he hit .343 with a .974 OPS in 2024 and delivered in high-pressure moments, including the championship-winning home run. He also adds value as a coach’s son and youth baseball coach, which suggests maturity and feel for the game. That mix makes him a dependable fit for a team that values baseball instincts, competitiveness, and upside.
