Towering Redshirt Freshman WR with Untapped High School Pedigree
At 6'4" and 200 lbs, redshirt freshman Franklin Baret Jr. flashed potential in the 2025 season with 5 receptions for 62 yards (12.4 avg) over 6-7 games for Jacksonville State, after redshirting at App State in 2024[1][2][6][9]. His high school dominance—913 receiving yards, 1,483 all-purpose yards, and 13 TDs including two kickoff returns—hints at explosive playmaking and return skills waiting to erupt[4]. Raw but physically gifted with ideal size for contested catches, he's a high-upside developmental prospect for teams needing tall targets; bet on his growth in a pass-friendly offense.
