Big-bodied righty with starter experience, but 2025 was wiped out by injury
Gailey’s calling card is a sturdy 6-foot, 210-pound RHP profile with real starter experience at USF, including a 2024 line of 2-3, 5.13 ERA, and 25 strikeouts over 33.1 innings, while holding hitters to a .258 average. USF listed him as out for the 2025 season due to injury, so the key question is health and rebound, not just stuff. If you like a pitcher with sunk-in experience, weekend-start familiarity, and a proven ability to eat innings when right, he’s worth a close look.
