Tobe Okafor

Grand Canyon’s big, physical rim presence with a veteran stop-and-start track record

Tobe Okafor is a 6-foot-11 center whose calling card is size, interior length, and shot-blocking upside, with his junior-college résumé showing efficient finishing and real rim protection in the 2024 season at Western Texas College. He’s the type of low-usage big who can change the paint without demanding touches, which makes him appealing if a team wants size, defensive deterrence, and a complementary role. The catch: his college production has been limited, so he reads more like a situational, developmental fit than an instant stat-sheet bully.
