steady, crafty guard who once powered UVU’s offense
Marcel Davis is a former Utah Valley guard whose best pro-style trait was his all-around control of the game: in the 2015-16 season, he led UVU in scoring at 14.3 points per game and also paced the team and WAC with 4.97 assists per game, earning All-WAC second-team honors.[5] He was more than a stat sheet guy, too—UVU credited him as a high-impact two-way guard who added 5.6 rebounds per game and 1.14 steals per game that season, the kind of tough, connective player coaches love in a backcourt.[5]
