Liv Smith keeps grinding for Monmouth with contact, patience, and clutch utility
In the 2026 season, Monmouth infielder Liv Smith has been a steady offensive piece, hitting .267 with 32 hits, 12 RBI, and 17 runs scored while also showing real bat-to-ball skill and patience at the plate[1]. In the 2025 season, she hit .294 with 30 hits, 8 RBI, and 2 triples, and Monmouth repeatedly praised her as a lineup leader in batting average[2][3]. The fit factor: she’s a left-handed, versatile infield presence who gets on base, works counts, and brings reliable, low-drama consistency rather than flashy power[1][6].
