Power-Hitting 5'2" MIF Commits to South Carolina After .378, 45-RBI ASUN Season
Irianis Garcia, a 5'2" left-handed middle infielder for Stetson, defies her size with elite power, hitting .378 with 11 home runs and 45 RBI in the 2025 season, earning Second Team All-ASUN honors and ranking as the No. 9 middle infielder in the transfer portal per Softball America[1][4]. Her differentiator is rare power-to-size ratio and high-intensity competitiveness, having driven 45 RBIs as a sophomore while leading Stetson's infield[1][6]. Now committed to South Carolina as their fourth portal transfer, she brings proven production and a fearless mindset, making her an immediate fit for teams needing a high-impact, left-handed bat from the infield who can change games with one swing[1].
