Julia Shearer gives Saint Joseph’s a two-way weapon with elite strike-throwing
Shearer is a high-upside **two-way standout** for Saint Joseph’s, bringing legitimate value both in the circle and at the plate. In 2026, she earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 utility honors after hitting .299 with 38 RBI and posting a 3.01 ERA with 69 strikeouts, while also ranking among the nation’s best in control with just 0.88 walks per seven innings and a 6.90 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Her differentiators are command, competitiveness, and versatility — she can win games in multiple roles and has already shown she can handle high-leverage work.
