Cornell catcher Matalie Greenwood brings depth, but the game reps are still the story
In the 2026 season, Matalie Greenwood is listed as a junior catcher for Cornell, but Cornell’s roster notes say she did not see game action in 2024, 2025, or 2026, so the public stat sheet doesn’t yet tell a true on-field story[1]. The fit signal here is more about projection than production: catching depth matters, and her continued presence on the roster suggests the staff sees value in her work, development, and potential upside behind the plate[1][2].
