Mitch Haythorn brings ace-level production and swing-and-miss stuff to Northern Colorado
Haythorn projects as a high-upside RHP because he has already shown true ace traits: in the 2024-25 high school season, he posted a 1.99 ERA, 88 strikeouts in 45.2 innings, an 11-0 record, and a .185 opponent batting average, while also fielding cleanly at .981; reports from his Future Games MVP recognition point to a slider that stood out and real development on the mound, suggesting a pitcher with bat-missing ability and a competitive edge that translates beyond raw numbers.[2][4][5][8]
