Joel Ofori is Old Westbury’s do-everything forward, piling up double-doubles and all-around production
In the 2025-26 season, Joel Ofori has been one of SUNY Old Westbury’s most impactful players, entering the year as a 6-foot-5 sophomore forward and already showing a high-motor, glue-guy profile with scoring, rebounding, passing, and rim protection. He finished the 2024-25 season averaging 6.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.0 steals in all 23 games, then flashed a bigger ceiling in 2025-26 with multiple double-doubles, including 25 points and 21 rebounds against Maritime and 14 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks against St. Joe’s Brooklyn. That kind of versatile, physical production makes him a strong fit for teams needing toughness, rebounding, and winning plays.
