Jake Michel brings Towson a battle-tested, strike-throwing senior arm with upside when he’s on rhythm
In the 2026 season, Towson right-hander Jake Michel has worked mostly as a starter/bridge arm, going 1-1 with a 15.00 ERA across 14 appearances and five starts, but he’s also shown he can steady a game with scoreless innings, like his two-inning win over George Mason on April 8, 2026. He’s a 6-foot-5 pitcher with experience, academic recognition, and a coach’s mindset, but his 2026 results have been uneven, so he fits best for a team that values feel, competitiveness, and development over instant polish.
