Lorena Caparros brings two-way juice to Defiance’s backcourt
In the 2025-26 season, junior guard Lorena Caparros has been a steady all-around contributor for Defiance, averaging 7.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in her first two games. Her calling card is pressure defense and playmaking—she’s already shown she can disrupt possessions, push tempo, and handle the ball without needing a huge usage rate. At 5'4", she’s not winning with size, but she does bring grit, pace, and a willingness to do the little things that coaches love.
