Steady, savvy Pitt guard who can run the show
In the 2022-23 season at Pitt, Nelly Cummings averaged 11.1 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 35.7% from three and 88.3% from the line; Pitt also noted he brought scoring, perimeter shooting, and ball-handling to the backcourt.[1][3] The fit is obvious: he’s a poised lead guard with real feel, shot-making, and late-game composure, though not a high-volume athletic creator—more crafty conductor than chaos merchant.[1][3]
