Malik Jefferson brings old-school rebounding muscle and efficient scoring to Mount St. Mary's
In the 2022-23 season, Malik Jefferson averaged 8.3 points and a team-high 7.3 rebounds in 24 games, while historically grading out as a high-efficiency interior finisher who has averaged 54.6% shooting across his college career. His calling card is clear: he’s a 6-foot-9 forward who controls the glass, lives in the paint, and has a track record of double-doubles and physical, back-to-the-basket play that veteran coaches love. The key question for any roster fit is whether you want a reliable rebounder and low-post anchor more than spacing; if yes, he’s a rugged fit with proven toughness.
