Jalan Jones is a 6'4" Norfolk State outfielder with real pop, runway, and all-star upside
Jones brings a big-bodied, line-drive profile with enough production to matter: in the 2026 season, he hit .320 with 56 hits, 33 RBIs, and 10 doubles across 42 starts, while Norfolk State listed him as a junior outfielder with early-season contributions in seven starts as well. He has also earned selection to the Minority Baseball Prospects HBCU All-Star Game and was noted as a consistent performer for the Spartans, which points to a player coaches can trust in meaningful spots. If you want a physical corner-outfield bat with upside, Jones is worth care; if you need elite speed or a polished contact-only profile, he’s probably not the fit.
