Owen MacDonnell is giving La Salle a true frontline lefty spark
In 2026, MacDonnell has flashed as a dependable starter for La Salle, highlighted by a seven-inning, eight-strikeout gem in a 10-2 win over Coppin State that matched season-best marks for Explorers pitchers. The graduate left-hander’s calling card is pitchability: he works deep into games, competes well with runners on, and gives his team a stable, experienced presence. His background at Sacred Heart shows a proven college track record, and his clean left-handed profile should appeal to teams looking for a durable, innings-eating arm rather than just pure velocity.
