Michael Devenney brings strikeout punch and starter upside to Tulane’s rotation
Devenney profiles as a power right-hander for Tulane, with a proven high-school track record of 134 career strikeouts, a 1.35 ERA, and a 15-strikeout game, then added eight strikeouts in 10.1 innings over 10 appearances in 2025 for the Green Wave[4]. His differentiator is bat-missing ability, which gives him real value if your staff needs a pitcher who can attack hitters rather than simply fill innings[4]. He looks like a good fit for a team that prizes competitive, strikeout-oriented arms with room to keep developing.
