Jager Nailor brings contact pop, speed, and infield versatility to Rutgers
Jager Nailor enters Rutgers as a freshman INF with real all-around juice: in his 2025 high school season at Mechanicsburg Area, he hit .441 with a 1.254 OPS, 18 RBIs, 22 runs, and 17 stolen bases, while earning First Team Class 6A and All-Conference honors. He was ranked the No. 10 shortstop in Pennsylvania by Prep Baseball Report, and the fit screams athletic middle-infield upside, competitive makeup, and trust-the-development-project energy. The one caveat: Rutgers’ own roster page lists no college stats yet, so this is a projection play, not a proven college producer.
