Rustin Young brings Big Ten-ready tackle depth with versatility and upside
In the 2025 season, Rustin Young logged 448 offensive snaps, made five starts at left tackle and one at right tackle, and showed enough flexibility to survive injuries in Michigan State’s line room—a valuable trait for any program built on depth and toughness[4][10][13]. A former four-star recruit from Honolulu, he’s viewed as a solid, physical tackle with real blindside experience, but his biggest selling point is that he can step in on either side when the chaos hits[11][12][13].
