Damen Thacker brings efficient scoring and steady two-way guard play to Idaho
Thacker is a compact, versatile guard who has shown he can score at multiple levels while also contributing on the glass and with disruptive defense; Idaho listed him at 6-0 and he averaged 6.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 31 games with 23 starts, with ESPN also showing a 7.9-point, 2.6-rebound, 1.6-assist profile and 40.8% shooting. His best calling card is reliable, low-drama production from a hard-nosed backcourt role, and his earlier college track record suggests he can handle larger usage when needed. If you want a guard who competes, can finish possessions, and does not need the offense built around him, he fits.
