Brock Golwas brings downhill punch and versatility to Texas Tech’s linebacker room
In the 2025 season, Brock Golwas logged 12 total tackles for Texas Tech and has already shown the kind of compact, multi-role toughness coaches love in a modern linebacker. At 6-1 and around 240 pounds, he plays with a thumper’s mentality but has a versatile background from high school, where he produced 38 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries, 4 pass breakups, and 7 quarterback hurries while even taking snaps on offense. The appeal is clear: physicality, intensity, and scheme flexibility.
