Logan Crock’s stock is rising at Butler—steady bat, versatile infielder, and a shortstop watchlist name
In the 2026 season, Butler infielder Logan Crock has gone from a solid contributor to a key lineup piece, earning Brooks Wallace Award watchlist recognition for the nation’s top shortstops and showing real pop and on-base skills. Butler listed him at .275/.402/.784 over 31 games in mid-April, and he finished with multiple multi-hit and RBI games, including a 4-for-4 day in 2025. At 5-foot-8, he’s more grinder than glamor, but the fit is obvious: quick hands, competitive edge, and reliable middle-infield value make him a smart get for teams wanting toughness and production.
