Brandon Cahill brings local-deep Ohio pedigree and right-handed innings to Dayton's staff
Brandon Cahill is a Dayton-area right-hander whose profile is built on strike-throwing, durability, and a pitcher’s feel rather than overpowering velocity. At Walsh, he logged 61 innings with 48 strikeouts over 12 starts in 2024, and his recruiting profile showed an 80 mph fastball with an 85 mph top gear and a usable changeup, suggesting a pitchability arm who can compete with command. He looks like a fit for a staff that values consistency, competitiveness, and local familiarity more than pure flash.
