Emeka Megwa brings size, burst, and a fresh role to UNLV's backfield
Megwa is an intriguing transfer because his profile is still more projection than production: he was a highly rated high school back with elite recruiting buzz and, in EA Sports College Football 26, shows appealing explosiveness (88 acceleration, 85 speed, 85 juke) and solid tackle-breaking traits. His college résumé is thin—one carry for six yards at Oklahoma in 2023—and his path has been slowed by injury and limited game action, so durability is the big question. If UNLV wants a physical, versatile back with upside, he fits; if it needs proven volume, he does not yet.
