Texas State’s Alan Grimme: a 6-foot-5, 319-pound depth-piece with SEC-sized frame and JUCO grit
Alan Grimme is a redshirt junior offensive lineman for Texas State in 2026, listed at 6-foot-5, 319 pounds, and he logged action in just 2 games in 2025 after transferring from Jones College, where he appeared in 9 games. His appeal is obvious: he brings a big, sturdy frame, transfer experience, and developmental upside, but he is still more of a depth bet than an instant-impact starter right now. If a team wants a powerful, coachable lineman with room to grow, he’s intriguing; if it needs proven top-tier production today, he’s still a work in progress.
