Brayden Bachman is an ECU freshman bat with real pop and a fearless approach
In the 2026 season, Brayden Bachman flashed upside as a left-handed outfield bat for East Carolina, highlighted by his first collegiate home run against Coastal Carolina and a two-RBI homer later in April. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound Chesapeake, Va., product was praised early for barreling the ball, attacking at-bats without looking rattled, and giving ECU a physically mature, high-motor presence. He looks like a fit if you want toughness, some sneaky power, and a hitter who can handle pressure without blinking.
