The Citadel Outfielder with a Grand Slam Breakout and Elite Intensity
Jayden Williams, a sophomore outfielder for The Citadel, delivered his first career grand slam in the 2026 season, showcasing explosive power and clutch performance in a doubleheader sweep of Samford. Standing 6'0" and 185 lbs, Williams combines a .285 batting average with 18 RBIs, 6 doubles, and 1 home run, but his true differentiator is his relentless intensity and 'Honor. Duty. Respect.' mindset rooted in his high school MVP legacy at Spring Valley. Unlike many players who rely solely on stats, Williams brings a competitive fire that elevates teammates, with no reported injury history and a versatile skill set (OF/MIF/3B) that makes him a perfect fit for any team needing a high-energy, adaptable contributor. His mother’s legacy as a former Player of the Week adds a unique family-driven drive to his game.
