Justin Vossos brings timely pop and clutch, middle-of-the-order versatility to Texas State
In the 2026 season, Justin Vossos has been a real spark for Texas State, highlighted by a walk-off two-homer game against Marshall and multiple RBI hits in key Sun Belt moments[2][6][10]. He’s listed as a redshirt junior infielder/right-handed pitcher, but the bat is the separator right now: Texas State’s 2026 stat line shows a .298 average with a .871 OPS, 5 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 31 hits[3]. The upside is his competitive edge and knack for delivering in pressure spots; the concern is that his career role still looks more bat-driven than two-way impact[1][12].
