Latrelle Murrell is West Georgia’s downhill hammer with burst
Murrell’s 2025 season showed why he matters: he was West Georgia’s lead back, piling up 636 rushing yards on 124 carries with a 5.1-yard average and a 79.5 yards-per-game clip, after a solid 2024 debut of 224 yards and 3 scores on 33 carries. His calling card is efficient, physical running with enough burst to pop chunk gains, and he’s already proven he can handle volume. At 5'11" and 210 pounds, he fits a pro-style, between-the-tackles workload—good fit if you want a tough runner who can keep the chains moving.
