Jake Ross brings long-frame upside and rotation potential to WMU
Jake Ross is a 6-foot-5, 214-pound right-hander who was redshirted in 2026, so the Broncos are clearly taking a development-first approach with his arm. WMU’s 2025 signing note called him a three-year letterwinner with team success at Victor J. Andrew, including a 2023 regional title and a 2024 regional runner-up finish, which hints at a competitive profile and winning pedigree. The appeal here is projection: size, starter’s build, and enough amateur track record to make him a watch-list arm if the stuff keeps climbing.
