Giana Scotti gives Monmouth a steady, contact-driven spark in the infield
Scotti is the kind of player coaches like because she blends reliable contact, gap power, and speed: in 2025 she finished with 29 hits, 20 runs, 17 RBI, five doubles, a triple, three homers, and nine stolen bases, and early in 2025 she led Monmouth’s offense with six hits and eight total bases over opening weekend. She also reached base safely in 19 straight games, signaling consistency and toughness rather than just flash. At 5'5" with middle-infield versatility, she looks like a strong fit for a team that values steady production, aggressive baserunning, and dependable defense.
