Howard’s steady senior arm: Destiny Calloway gives the Bison experience, strike-throwing, and poise in the circle
In the 2026 season, Destiny Calloway has been a reliable senior pitcher for Howard, posting a 1-0 start in a home-opening win over UMES and delivering multiple pressure-relief outings against stronger opponents. Her profile reads like a coach’s comfort blanket: experienced, composed, and capable of eating key innings, even when the box score gets messy. Howard’s season notes also show her as part of a deeper pitching mix, with the staff leaning on her in relief and in spot starts. If your team wants a veteran left-hander/right-hander? not specified—who brings toughness and stability, Calloway fits the bill.
