big-bodied Boston College lefty with deceptive upside and a winning prep résumé
Sean Budis is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound left-handed pitcher for Boston College whose calling card is size, deception, and a crossfire-style delivery that evaluators say makes him tough to square up. In his 2025 high-school season at David Brearley, he was a first-team all-state pick, a four-time first-team all-conference selection, and a sectional champion, capped by a perfect game in the playoffs. He looks like a fit for a program that values upside, mound presence, and strike-throwing feel over instant polish.
