Whitten Weems is a big-bodied, early-impact tight end for Eastern Illinois
In the 2026 season, Whitten Weems has opened with 1 catch for 3 yards in Eastern Illinois’s 28-14 win at Murray State, but his real value is the dirty-work profile: at 6-foot-5, 255 pounds, he’s listed as a blocking tight end and special-teams contributor after transferring in from East Texas Baptist, where he also handled punting duties. He looks like a fit for teams that want an edge-setting TE who can help in the run game, cover kicks, and grow into a bigger passing role rather than flash as a volume receiver.
