Bullpen arm with strikeout feel and room to grow
AJ Doll is a sophomore right-handed pitcher for North Dakota State in the 2026 season who has shown useful bullpen value: he struck out 5 batters in 2.2 innings across five appearances, and opened the year with a clean inning and a strikeout at Southern Illinois[1][4]. He also brings real junior-college experience, posting 20 strikeouts in 11.0 innings at Hutchinson CC in 2025[1]. His profile reads like a compact, competitive reliever who can miss bats, but the recent volatility shown in a rough outing at Creighton suggests he’s still sharpening consistency[1][3][6].
