Louisiana Tech’s middle-of-the-order masher keeps climbing
In the 2026 season, Trey Hawsey backed up his breakout 2025 as one of Louisiana Tech’s offensive anchors, leading the Bulldogs in home runs, RBI, total bases and OPS while batting .332 with 15 homers and a 1.111 OPS in conference play; he also earned Second Team All-Conference USA and First Team All-Louisiana honors. He’s the kind of infielder coaches love: physical, productive, patient enough to draw walks, and dangerous enough to change a game with one swing. If your team wants a left-handed bat with legit power and run-producing juice, Hawsey fits the bill.
