Marek Nelson brings pro-ready wing production and two-way edge to Nicholls
Marek Nelson is a 6-7 forward who gives Nicholls a versatile, physical wing with real scoring punch, rebounding, and defensive playmaking. In the 2021-22 season at UTRGV, he started 20 games and averaged 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game, which shows a stat line built on activity and impact rather than just shot volume. He later carried that two-way profile into the pro game, where recent stat tracking shows him producing around 12 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He looks like the kind of forward who can help a team by doing the dirty work, mixing toughness with enough skill to stretch defenses and make winning plays.
