Bryan Sammons: Big-bodied lefty with starter depth and a usable strikeout track record
Bryan Sammons is a 6-foot-4, 234-pound left-handed pitcher whose value comes from size, durability, and a workable fastball/slider mix that has helped him handle both starting and depth-relief roles. In 2025 with Lotte, he logged 75 innings with 73 strikeouts and a 3.78 ERA, showing he can miss bats while limiting damage enough to stay in the mix. If your team needs a low-drama, physically imposing arm who can absorb innings and offer left-handed looks, he fits that profile.
