senior infield steady hand for Charleston Southern
Brandon Phillips is a senior infielder for Charleston Southern in the 2026 season, and his value starts with experience, versatility, and a right-handed bat that has shown contact ability at the college level[1][5]. In the 2025 season, he hit .172 in limited action, and Charleston Southern’s stats page also shows a .250 line in another 2025 split, so his production has been uneven but the profile still suggests a grinder who can handle multiple infield spots and bring veteran stability to a roster[3][5]. At 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, he fits more as a steady utility piece than a flashy stat-sheet monster — the kind of player coaches usually trust to do the little things right[1][12].
