Rim-Protector with Efficiency and Veteran Value at Nicholls
Ryghe Lyons has been a tough interior presence for Nicholls, with his 2020-21 production showing efficient scoring, strong rebounding, and real shot-blocking pop for a center. In the 2020-21 season, he led the Colonels in field-goal percentage at .587 and blocked 1.8 shots per game, while also averaging 5.9 rebounds and 8.1 points per game[7]. Earlier coverage described him as one of the veterans who helped establish the team’s culture, and his value goes beyond box scores: he brings physicality, experience, and dependable paint defense[6][8].
