Isaiah Hernandez brings clutch bats and gap power to UC Riverside
Hernandez is a useful outfield bat for UC Riverside because he has already shown he can deliver in high-leverage moments, highlighted by a walk-off single, three hits, two doubles and three RBIs in a standout April 2025 game against CSUN.[3] In 2025, he started nine games and played in 15, collecting six hits and two stolen bases, which suggests a contact-and-impact profile rather than pure home-run production.[2] His older recruiting evaluations also point to athleticism, quick foot speed and a smooth right-handed swing with gap-to-gap pop, making him a fit for a team that values energy, versatility and timely offense.[6]
