Taylor Smith brings efficient scoring, rebounding, and a little extra juice to Gonzaga’s frontcourt
Taylor Smith, a 6-foot-2 forward for Gonzaga, looks like a quietly valuable fit because she combines efficient interior scoring, solid rebounding, and useful playmaking for a forward. In the 2025-26 season, she was listed by Gonzaga as a transfer from Weber State after averaging 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds in her sophomore season there, and she showed she can pop as an immediate impact scorer with 20 points in Gonzaga’s exhibition win over Carroll College. Her game fits a team that wants a dependable, versatile frontcourt piece who can score without needing a lot of touches.
