Delaware’s proven scoring machine returns with size, shot-making, and Blue Hen pedigree
Davon Usher is a 6-6 guard who arrives at Delaware as a first-year Blue Hen expected to push for a starting role after transferring from Mississippi Valley State, giving the roster an immediate perimeter scoring upgrade and positional size. His calling card is obvious: he’s a proven bucket-getter, and Delaware’s own historical stat leaders note he owns the program’s single-season scoring record with 679 points in 2013-14. He fits teams that need a confident, high-usage guard who can create offense and bring veteran scoring punch; less of a mystery box, more of a known weapon.
