Tess Bumiller has become Nevada’s reliable swing-arm spark in the circle
In the 2026 season, Tess Bumiller emerged as a key two-way difference-maker for Nevada, posting a 12-6 record with 111.0 innings, 60 strikeouts, three complete games, and a second-team All-Mountain West nod. She also delivered in big moments—like a 0.00 ERA weekend against Boise State and a complete-game no-hitter against Colorado State—showing poise, stamina, and a pitcher’s feel for getting outs without needing elite velocity. The fit? She looks like a tough, competitive rotation piece who stabilizes a staff and rises in pressure spots.
