6-foot-11 rim-protecting center with pro-ready size
Echenique’s calling card is **size, rebounding, and shot blocking**: at Wichita State he posted 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 94 career blocks, and he was strong enough defensively that pro teams later valued him as a paint anchor. He also brings rare international experience and a proven work rate, having earned NBA and G League opportunities after college. If you need a physical center who can protect the rim, finish around the basket, and bring veteran polish, he fits; if you need a floor-spacing big, he is less of a fit.
