Rhode Island’s High-Intensity Guard with Elite 3-Point Volume and Playmaking Drive
Ishmael El-Amin, a 6’3’’ guard from Minneapolis, MN, stands out for his relentless intensity, elite 3-point shooting volume (led team with 53 in 2021–22), and natural playmaking instincts (66 assists that season). While his 2025–26 NCAA stats show modest averages (6.5 PPG, 2.3 REB, 1.8 AST), his differentiator is his competitive fire and ability to elevate team offense through spacing and ball-handling under pressure. He has no significant injury history, and his graduate status in 2021–22 reflects maturity and dedication. Ideal for teams needing a high-energy, 3-and-D guard who thrives in transition and can lead second-unit offense. His professional journey (including Italy’s Serie A) confirms adaptability and resilience beyond college stats.
