Julien Demby brings proven tackling production and playmaking upside to South Alabama
Demby is a former Warren Central standout who arrived at South Alabama with a reputation as a high-motor, playmaking linebacker; in high school he posted 117 tackles, 5 interceptions and 3 sacks as a senior, then as a true freshman in 2024 he appeared in 12 games mostly on special teams and recorded 3 tackles, plus a fumble recovery and a pass breakup.[3][7] What makes him intriguing is the blend of toughness, range and ball skills—he can close on runners, affect turnovers and contribute on coverage units, which makes him a useful fit for teams that value effort, versatility and development upside.[3][7]
